It's a patent Tool-Less Boost Thru Axle that you don't need to carry an extra Allen Key while riding. It's designed with a combined lever. You can pull the lever out, then quickly assemble (or disassemble) the axle. After tightening, it can be hidden and stay inside the axle body perfectly, and no need to worry about it will drop out and affecting the wheelset.
